From Puerto Rico with love
In EntrePanas we focus on producing the first and only Gluten Free Breadruit Bread. Bread as it has to be.
How It was
Purchased large tract of land in Utuado, PR and planted 400 breadfruit trees that were grown at a local nursery. 288 of these trees were generously donated by Trees that feed foundation.
Purchased 200 breadfruit trees plus smaller fruit trees. Totalling 12 acres of planted land.
Started experimenting with creative alternatives applying breadfruit to gluten free recipes.
First batch of breadfruit harvested and formal incorporation of Finca dos Hermanas to produce breadfruit for our brand EntrePanas.
Product trials on select markets and coffee shops while fine tuning for commercial launch of value added products using breadfruit. Currently in select coffee shops.
Participated on Guayacan Enterprize 2019 winning the “Women in science” award by Titin Foundation.
